Description
Apple Keychain Access is a password management system bundled with macOS (OS X). This utility was introduced with Mac OS 8.6. It is used to securely store passwords.
Keychain Access enables you to access the keychain feature and modify its contents, which includes passwords for websites, email, servers, Wi-Fi networks, network shares, and encrypted disk images. Keychain Access can store private keys, certificates, as well as secure notes. Some other functions that Keychain Access provides is the ability to recover forgotten passwords, remove unwanted website passwords, and share your keychain with other macOS machines using the .KEYCHAIN file.
