Description
Apple Pages is a word processing application for OS X. You can create many documents with the app, including posters, resumes and cards.
Pages saves documents in .PAGES format but can import or export to Microsoft Word's Office Open XML file. It can also export a document to the PDF and ePub formats. The application provides over 60 high quality templates and allows you to add text, images, video, shapes, tables, and charts to your document.
Pages is also available iOS devices. This allows you to access your documents from anywhere and at any time. And with iCloud, your documents will be kept up to date across enabled devices. You can also share documents using a link that allows OS X and Windows users to access the latest version with editing permissions via Pages for iCloud beta .
Pages has evolved over the years to be a more refined word processor for OS X users. It comes with solid word processing features, provides a large variety of professional looking templates, and supports the popular Office Open XML format. It doesn't offer nearly the same amount of robust word processing power provided by Microsoft Word, but if you need a low-priced word processor that's great for designing page layouts, Apple Pages is the solution.
