Description

Apple Safari is a web browser developed by Apple and the default browser for macOS (OS X) and iOS operating systems. It was originally developed for Windows up to version 5.1.7, but it was discontinued.

Safari offers many of the same functions as other web browsers such as tabs and built-in spell check, bookmarks, private browsing, history, password management, and tabs. Safari defaults to a minimalistic design. However, you can change the way Safari displays the toolbar, show the favorites bar, show the sidebar, etc. One of the more convenient functions of Safari's toolbar is the Share button, which allows you to quickly share your webpage through email, Messages, AirDrop, or social sites such as Facebook and Twitter.

Safari also uses iCloud to enable seamless browsing across all your devices. You can access browsing history from your other iCloud enabled devices and if you change your bookmarks on one of your devices, the change will be updated for all of your other devices. Safari provides tools for developers such as the Web Inspector, Snippet Editor and Extension Builder. These tools allow you to inspect source code, modify snippets and create and manage your browser extensions.

Safari is a good, but not great option for macOS users. It looks nice, offers standard browsing capabilities, and features helpful toolbar functions. You can use Chrome or Firefox if you're looking for a web browser that allows seamless browsing between your iCloud devices.
