Description
Applied Biosystems FMAT (Fluorometric Microvolume Assay Technology) 8100 HTS System is used to analyze fluorescent, multiplexed, homogeneous, live cell- and bead-based screening assays. It is intended for scientists who are interested in discovering new pharmaceutical leads.
FMAT 8100 HTS System consists of the FMAT instrument and robotic plate handler as well as the computer software. The system allows you capture images and measure the fluorescent intensity cells or beads in a mix/read format.
FMAT works in three phases. The first phase is the Setup, where appropriate parameters are chosen for the assay, or procedure, and a specific assay is selected for the sample run. The next phase is the Run part, where specific wells or the whole plate is scanned and displayed. The Analysis phase, which stores numerical and image data in .CXA , .CXI , and .CXA files, is the final phase. These files can also be opened with FMAT software and printed.
FMAT is mainly designed for leading researchers in the pharmaceutical field. It includes the FMAT instrument, robotic plate handling system, and software. The Applied Biosystems FMAT-8100 HTS System is a reliable, accurate ally for pharmaceutical researchers. It saves time and helps to conserve energy.
