It is packaged with MatchMover that allows you to composite CGI elements into your video using advanced camera tracking. Camera Sequencer can also be used to arrange multiple camera shots in your animation sequence. Maya Embedded Language allows you to customize the program with modifications and plugins, and create scripts that simplify and automate tasks.

Autodesk Maya is a very powerful and complex tool that is difficult to master. Autodesk 3dsMax is another great choice if you are looking for a 3D modeling tool with similar capabilities to Maya, but without the steep learning curve.
