theWord is a free application used to read and study the Bible. It was developed by Costas Sterigiu.
TheWord has a lot of features that will help you get into your Bible. You can compare different translations of your Bible, search the Bible to find certain passages, highlight your favorite verses, read commentaries and learn more about the Greek and Hebrew origins. You can add additional functionality to the application because it is extensible. You can download thousands of user-made modules for free or for a small fee.
TheWord allows you to personalize its interface. It provides 8 predefined layouts that include different positions of windows and settings. It comes with over 20 skins that you can preview before applying to the interface and you can make a completely new skin if you do not want to use any of the ones provided with the application.
TheWord is a digital tool that helps Christians study the Bible. They can add modules to enhance their functionality and access a variety of reading functions. theWord provides a personal tool that helps Christians delve into God's word.
