Description
E-merge WinAce is a file compression utility for Windows. It is also available for OS X but is called MacUnace.
The program can create and extract archives. It also features a proprietary archive format called .ACE. WinAce supports many archive formats such as ZIP, CAB, Gzip and ISO. WinAce allows you to email archive files directly from the application after you have finished archiving your files.
WinAce offers basic features that allow users to create and extract many popular archive formats. The program was very popular in the 2000s but has not been updated in many years. Unless you need to open ACE archives, you will want to look elsewhere for a more modern archiving utility.
