Electronic Arts The Sims 2 follows the success of the original "Sims" franchise. The game is about controlling and creating the lives of "sims" humans. "

The Sims 2 features life simulation gameplay where you play "God" and get to control one or more virtual lifeforms. You start by creating a sim and customizing everything from its gender to body type to hair style to tattoos. You can directly manipulate every move your sims make and with their memories and awareness, the sims remember and react to other Sims.

The game allows you to install expansion packs and stuff packs, which are minor expansion packs. These packs include additional game features and items such as weather systems, vacations to different cultural areas, own pets, relationship states, universities, and other related items. You can also purchase stuff packs which provide add-ons such as holiday items, luxury objects, and wedding themed fashions. "Bon Voyage" was the last expansion pack released for Mac OS X and "Apartment Life" was the last for Windows. "Happy Holiday Stuff" was the last Mac OS X expansion pack, while "Mansion & Garden Stuff" was the last for Windows.

The Sims 2 is a fun sequel of the original. It features improved gameplay and allows you to play with a friend at split-screen two-player mode. You will love the second installment of "Sims 2" if you enjoyed the first. You may want to skip this installment due to the age of Electronic Arts' The Sims 2.
