Description

Google Picasa is an application that allows users to organize, edit, and share their photos and videos. It is available for Windows and OS X but is now discontinued as it was replaced by Google Photos.

Picasa allows users to organize their images on their computer and import photos from their cameras or scanners. You can organize your images into folders, and search them by date and faces, name tags, or places (through geotagging). Users can share their images via email, print, or export to a folder on their computers. Users are also able to sync their images directly from Picasa to Google+ Photos on the web.

Picasa offers users the ability to crop and straighten photos, rotate and retouch them, as well as sharing and organizing. The editor offers advanced editing options such as duo-tone and borders, vignette or soft focus, color inverting, saturation, color inverting and color vignette. Picasa also allows you to revert to the original image if you are not satisfied with your edits.

Google Picasa is a handy program for organizing, editing, and sharing images. Although it doesn't offer professional editing tools it is a useful application for casual users who use Google+ and want to share their photos.
