Description
MakerBot Desktop is an application used to manage and share 3D prints. It is available for Windows and OS X platforms.
The application allows you import .STL and .OBJ files into a cloud-enabled collection. In the library you can rename, edit, and add instructions to personal files, layouts, and collections. 3D prints can be viewed online. MakerBot Desktop can be connected to the MakerBot 3D printer via Wi Fi, Ethernet, or USB.
MakerBot Desktop allows you to monitor and control your printers. It allows you to quickly access commands such as suspend, cancel, change filament, and change color. You can monitor your prints with an onboard camera. You can also take photos of your prints and upload them directly to Thingiverse.
