Description
Microsoft WordPad is a text editor bundled with Microsoft Windows. It is similar to Microsoft Word but does not offer as many capabilities. However, it offers many more features than Microsoft Notepad, which is another text editor bundled with Windows.
WordPad allows you to create and edit text documents. Rich formatting allows you to customize the way text is organized, change fonts, adjust line spacing, and much more. You can also link or embed objects such as images or Microsoft Paint drawings in the text editor. It has many useful features, including the ability to quickly email your document. WordPad also supports Office Open XML .DOCX formats.
Microsoft WordPad is great for document creation that doesn't require graphic usage such as note taking. It is more powerful than Notepad but comes nowhere near Microsoft Word. Despite its lack of power the text editor will still come in handy for Microsoft Windows users.
