Description
Microsoft XML Notepad, an open-source application that allows users to browse and modify XML documents, is Microsoft XML Notepad. It is free for Windows users only.
XML Notepad offers a simple interface and a variety of useful features. The program provides a tree view that breaks an XML document into classes, tags, and key values. It also comes with an HTML viewer for displaying XSLT transformation results. Some other capabilities include drag and drop support, configurable fonts and colors, instant XML schema validation, and endless undo and redo edit operations.
XML Notepad is used by beginner and expert XML programmers. It offers advanced capabilities, but has a simple interface that is easy to use for beginners. Although there are many XML editors available, like Liquid XML Studio and Stylus Studio, Microsoft XML Notepad still offers the most basic functionality for browsing and editing XML files.
