Description
CocoModX by Sven Janssen is a free audio player. The program was developed for Mac OS X only but is now discontinued.
CocoModX can play a variety audio module files such as.MOD and.XM files. You can download and play modules directly from HTTP sites. By dragging and dropping modules into playlists, users can create playlists. CocoModX offers many useful features such as the ability switch between stereo and mono, change the appearance of the user interface between brushed metallic and pinestripe, and convert any mod file into the WAVE format.
CocoModX is a decent application that can play a wide variety of mod files. The developer has discontinued support for the player. Therefore, users should look elsewhere, such as VideoLAN VLC media player, for an application to play their audio module files.
