Description

Apache OpenOffice is an open source office suite similar to Microsoft Office. This program is closely related with LibreOffice and descended from OpenOffice.org. It provides several office productivity programs that look similar to Microsoft Office programs.

OpenOffice allows you to create documents that improve office productivity and organization. The applications are similar to Microsoft Office and are used for creating presentations, spreadsheets, drawings, diagrams, equations, text documents, and other office documents. The files can be saved in the OpenOffice proprietary file format or in Microsoft Office file formats, such as .DOC, .PPT, and .XLS. For easy sharing, each OpenOffice file can be exported as a .PDF.
