Description

Bethesda Softworks Fallout 2 (RPG) is a role-playing video game that takes place in a retro-futuristic, post-apocalyptic world. It is similar in format to the first Fallout game, but takes place in 2241 - 80 years after the events that led up to the original Fallout. The original game was developed by Interplay, Black Isle Studios, but Bethesda Softworks bought the rights.

The purpose of the game is to find the Garden of Eden Creation Kit, which is an environmental restoration machine that can save the hero's tribe. As you play the game, you can roam freely in an open world, encountering friendly and hostile inhabitants as you travel. How you choose to handle inhabitants dictates the future story and what gameplay opportunities are available.

Fallout 2 lets you choose different gameplay preferences, such as the game difficulty, combat difficulty, violence level, length of combat messages, and combat speed. You can choose the character you want to play as and his or her skills and traits.

Bethesda Softworks Fallout 2 is a satisfying sequel to the original. It features many of the same qualities of the first while expanding on the size of the world and storyline. The sequel will be a great continuation of the first Fallout experience.
