Propellerhead ReCycle

Description

Propellerhead ReCycle is a tool used to create and edit sampled loops. It can be used to slice sounds, tweak them, and save them in the industry standard REX format for use by other samplers and sequencers.

ReCycle can find any transients in sampled material and be used to slice your loop. ReCycle can keep any timing information so you can play your loop back at any speed. You can also tweak your sound with the built-in effects Transient Shaper, Envelope and EQ.

The program allows you to save your loops in the REX format, which has become an industry standard with use by audio programs such as Ableton Live, Steinberg Cubase, Apple Logic Pro, and Image-Line FL Studio. You can arrange, rearrange, or alter the timing of your loops using the REX format. The loops can be used as a groove template in your song.

ReCycle is used by musicians and producers working with loop-based music. Although it does not have any recording features or a composition environment, ReCycle can be used with almost any rhythmic audio, such as drum patterns and bass lines, or vocal phrases. Propellerhead ReCycle may be simple, but is a great tool for importing audio, splicing it, and saving it in the REX format to be used in other applications that support the format.
